Hill next to a river - with 10 km view - close enough to the beach
Cinnamon Heights Estate is a former cinnamon and tea plantation on a hill, 200 m off the Gin Ganga river, located close to Galle and Hikkaduwa in the south of Sri Lanka. The elevation of the estate is 35 - 60 m above the surrounding tea plantations. You have a spectacular panoramic view over 10 km and more. Plots are oriented towards west or east. And in 20 minutes you are at the beach.
Cinnamon Heights Estate is perfectly connected
- 18 km from Galle and Galle Fort - the "hot" spot of the south. It takes you 24 minutes by car on a low traffic country road.
- 9.7 km from Hikkaduwa Beaches - the perfect place for swimming, surfing and restaurant hopping. A 15 minute low traffic drive through rice fields and villages.
- 5.7 km from the Expressway access point - and 90 minutes later you are in the centre of Colombo (= 100 km).
- Direct Expressway connection to airport is promised to be completed August 2013.
Beautiful location - but isn't it too remote?
Important point! But don't worry, you are close by all spots of touristic interest and shopping needs. 24 minutes to Galle, 15 minutes to Hikkaduwa beach. You can get there easily any time with you own rental car, by taxi or by tuk-tuk..
